Dead rising 4 blueprints. at the very beginning he decided to take me back to the roots and again drive me into the endless halls of the Willamette shopping center

Photography teacher and photojournalist Frank West, known to many players, returns to Willamette, a fictional town located in Colorado. One of his students named Vic wants to use cunning to lure the teacher to a place where illegal experiments are being carried out on people. At first, Frank is dissatisfied with Vic's actions, but he believes her words.

Later it turns out that there are indeed zombies imprisoned at the facility. The heroes are forced to fight them, after which they find out that many of the bodies in the laboratory have the same appearance. This leads them to believe that zombie cloning is taking place here.

If we compare Dead Rising 4 with the previous parts of the game, there is no story-based cooperative gameplay and a timer system.

In past games there was a schedule that meant completing tasks with an opportunity to fail. This allowed me to play through the game multiple times to enjoy all its delights and challenges. In addition, in Dead Rising 4, checkpoints have replaced saves. Sometimes the gameplay is interrupted by story-driven animated videos and cutscenes.

Trailer for the game Dead Rising 4 Crafting system and inventory in new version the games have been simplified, with the main emphasis now being on combat. In the game you will encounter a huge number of zombies and a wide arsenal of weapons that can inflict not only single, but also

As the game progresses, Frank will level up and at the same time unlock new inventory slots and skills. Skill points are needed to gain new abilities for survival and combat.

The so-called prologue of the game is linear and is intended more to introduce the main character and the mechanics of the game. After completing the cutscene, go to the gate and use the key there.

Sneak past the guard and move on, when you approach the soldiers torturing people, take a couple of pictures and move on. When you approach the yellow marker on the map, a cutscene will play and you will have to kill the zombies. After that, pick up the key on the ground, also don’t forget to restore your health, to do this, look around the room and take medicine.

In the next room you need to defeat a large group of zombies to open the door to another room. There will be new weapons behind the door behind you, as well as some items to craft them. After exploring this room, go through the glass door that opens.

Kill the zombie that attacked you, and then open the door in the corner of the room. Once you get to the laboratory, search the room and take a couple of pictures of the device. After taking the necessary pictures, go to the next room, passing through the corridor. It will be very dark here, but the camera has a built-in night vision device. Use this camera function to walk up to the monitor and trigger a cutscene. After its completion, exit the room through the opened door. Analyze the door panel to open the door. Another cut-scene will follow. After looking at it, go to the control panel and drop the meat, then activate the oven to burn the zombies.

Now your path is clear, go through the test chamber into the next room. Once inside the laboratory, take a few pictures of the marked areas again. After taking all the pictures, follow your companion through several rooms, the final cut-scene of the prologue will start. After it, you will have to get out of the base, breaking through crowds of zombies.

Case #1: Piece goods

After a long cutscene, you will find yourself in the middle of your helicopter crash, and zombies are already approaching you. The first thing you need to do is arm yourself. Good weapons can be found in metal cases, but no one is stopping you from taking a brick or a guitar from the store counter. Having picked up a weapon, find your partner - Brad, he must be protected from the advancing hordes of zombies. This is quite simple to do, the main thing is not to move far from your companion.

After fighting back, talk to Brad, after which he will make an appointment for you at a local hotel. After the dialogue, go to the indicated location, your goal is indicated on the map with a yellow marker, and along the way you can meet civilians or collect new drawings. Having reached the hotel, talk to Brad and Connor, after which you will have to repel the attack together. Before the battle, look behind the counter, you can find a good drawing and supplies there.

After clearing the room, follow Brad to the security room, and then go through the corridor to another part of the hotel. Move to race track, in this area you can find a blueprint for small cars. After upgrading your vehicle, make your way through the shopping center to the marker. On the way you may meet marauders who are mocking people, eliminate them and move on. You can also take a photo of the zombie crowd along the way for your report. Finally, when you reach the marker, you will trigger a cutscene in the corridor, after which you need to eliminate all the zombies in that area. After dealing with the zombies, go to the shelter. Here you need to conduct a little investigation, namely, take pictures of books, a map on the board and a laptop (use a camera for orientation, it will mark necessary items). After photographing all the items, use the laptop to complete the investigation.

Before leaving the building, inspect it for medications, they may be useful to you in the future. Now head to the medieval department shopping center, simultaneously fighting off hordes of zombies. The only passage into this area will be blocked by enemies, but you can talk to them. During the dialogue, main character will anger the knights and they will open the gates, leaving you to deal with them. This is quite simple to do, although they are dressed like knights, they die just as quickly from a couple of blows, like ordinary zombies, but it is advisable not to let them get close to you. Having dealt with them, explore the area and move on. Having got out into the street, you will be met by seriously armed soldiers; it is better to fight them with firearms, but if you don’t have one, you can lure them into the room and kill them there. After the ordinary soldiers, thugs will rush at you; you can deal with them using grenades or Molotov cocktails. After defeating them, search the corpses and pick up more powerful weapons.

Moving to the next location, a new investigation will begin. You need to: photograph the organs located in the center of the location, and then go to the tent and use the camera to open the door, photograph the body behind it, now return to the street and go to the tent, which is located on the opposite side of the site, there you can photograph the files and photographs on the table.

After all this, return to the center of the site and talk to Darcy.

Case #2: Assault on Main Street

After watching the cutscene with the results of your first case, go to the yellow marker and continue along the parking lot. Arriving at the place, you will find a surviving Jessa and an ATV, and there will also be a drawing nearby. Use the drawing and upgrade the vehicle, then leave the garage. Using the mini-map as your guide, drive to the marker, but crowds of zombies will stand in your way. Killing them is quite fun, but they can quickly ruin your transport, so it is better to go straight to Obscuris. Once you arrive, enter the building and talk to Paula. After which another investigation awaits you in a dark room. Use the night vision device, take pictures of the files on the table (at the back of the room), then open the locker and take pictures of the files and finally the map (located next to Paula). After finishing the investigation, exit the building and go to the pharmacy.

Once you get there, go up the fire escape (on the left side of the building) and go inside the building, where there will be another investigation. Take a photo of the body on the wall, and then go to the back of the apartment. Use the analyzer to analyze the print on the bookshelf, then open the secret room and take pictures of the boxes. Now all you have to do is take pictures of the blue cards above the table in the kitchen and listen to the dialogue on the radio, this will complete the investigation. Now go to the fire station. Go up the stairs, on the top floor find a place where you can go down to the first floor. After going down, pick up a suit and deal with the zombies. Next, you need to take a photo of the map next to the fire truck, the parts nearby and another hanging corpse. Then go to the landfill.

On the spot, talk to Paula, and then enter the landfill territory, which is patrolled by armed soldiers. It is not necessary to kill them; you can easily sneak past the guards. If you do run into soldiers, stand in a busy shelter and shoot the advancing soldiers for a long time. Having reached the indicated point, a cut-scene will begin. After completing it, defeat the Flamethrower, if you have a lot of weapons, he won't be a problem. After defeating him, talk to Paula and go to Westridge.

When you reach the bridge, a long cut-scene will begin, after which you will talk to Isaac. After finishing the dialogue, search the house and go outside, get into the car and drive to the indicated point. There, you and Hammond need to eliminate several squads of soldiers; after eliminating them, there will be a short video. After that, head to the next point, eliminate the soldiers there and enter the building. Using your night vision device, turn on the light to the left of the stairs and free Darcy, who is tied up in a chair.

After talking with her, take a picture of the documents on the table, then turn on the projector and take a picture of what it shows and lastly, take a picture of the board on the left side of the screen.

After going through the door, you will be taken to the platinum, where you will find Lieutenant with his minions. It won't be difficult to defeat him. First, find a convenient shelter and eliminate the soldiers, and then kill the boss. Once you defeat him, the case will be closed and you will move on to the next one.

Case #3: And then it all started...

After starting a new business, get into the car and go to the marker. Soldiers will stand in your way, you can just drive past, drive further through the gate, but you will have to open it first. Next, there will be zombies on your way, driving around them will be problematic, quickly get through them. Having arrived at the indicated location, talk to the survivor who is sitting near the building, then go to the shelter (further along the road, through the gate) and find medicine there. Before you go, it's better to find some kind of transport, because there will be a crowd of zombies and it won't be easy to break through them.

Once you find the morphine (found on the top floor), give it to the survivor in exchange for information. After this, a new investigation will begin. Take photos of the wreckage near the trucks and the corpses on the wall. Having completed the investigation, talk to the survivor again, and then we go to the next goal marked on the map. Following the trail of debris, you will come to railway, and then through the tunnel you will enter the underground complex. Here you need to follow the monster, clearing the rooms from zombies along the way. You'll eventually descend into a small arena where you'll fight a strange zombie. Defeating him is easy enough, just attack him fast weapon and don't let him get close to you.

After defeating him, you will go outside. Get in the first car and go to Dr. Blaburn. The doctor's shelter was surrounded by Obscurus soldiers; they must be eliminated, and then enter the house to trigger a cut-scene. After talking to the doctor, take pictures of the photographs on the table, and then follow the doctor through the house. Don't miss the costume along the way. Exit through the garage and go to the next location, which is marked on the map. With a new and improved suit, it will not be difficult for you to kill a horde of zombies and reach the winery. Having reached it, go down to the laboratory, following the marker on the mini-map. Here you need to take pictures of the files on the table and what is in the safe. After finishing the investigation and watching the video, all you have to do is survive for some time. This is quite easy to do, since zombies attack in small groups and easily die from a couple of blows. Having withstood the onslaught of the infected, exit through the door and watch the last cutscene of this case.

Case #4: Super Zombie Caulder

The new business will begin with the fact that you need to leave the winery, get into the car and go to the billiard room. Upon arrival, clear the building from zombies, then go to the military base. Hammond will be waiting for you there, together with him you will find weakness in the wall (using a camera).

Pick up explosives and blow up the place you found. After this, you will have to fight off the advancing soldiers. Having fought back, pick up the exoskeleton and go to the communications tower, killing soldiers along the way. Thus, you will need to sabotage several more places military base, and then quickly leave it and go into a building nearby (will be marked on the map). After going through several rooms, you will find yourself in the gym, where you need to take a picture of the control panel near the zombie, the documents on the table and the box in the prison cell. After the cut-scene, aggressive zombies will attack you; you can quickly get rid of them using explosives. Having dealt with them, go down the stairs. Having found the room with intelligence data, take pictures of the broken container, server and blood on the box (first turn on the analyzer).

After the video, turn on night vision, find the key card for the door and leave the laboratory. Once you open the door, you will begin a boss battle with the Fountain. Easy to kill with a couple of bombs or gunfire, but be wary of her grenades and kicks. Defeating her will trigger the final cutscene of the case.

Case #5: Person of the Year

Having started a new business, escape from the military base, which is filled with zombies. After getting out of the zombie environment, get into the car and drive to the shelter marked on the map. Once you reach the marker, climb onto the roof using the yellow buses. Here you need to do a little reconnaissance of the area. Namely, take a picture of the truck on the right and the corpse on the fence to your left.

After that, go through the gate and go to the control panel to turn off the voltage. Now run into the building and clear it of the remaining zombies. After defeating them, talk to Connor upstairs and go to Tom's farm. On the farm you need to find Hammond, he is in the nearest house. In the right house, Frank will start talking on the radio on the second floor. Meanwhile, open the closet and use the analyzer to open the secret room. There you need to take pictures of the letters on the table, the painting, the gas mask on the books in the corner and the laptop.

After that, go to the cement factory. Your task is to get to the very top of the plant. You will be disturbed by the usual crowds of zombies, also improved ones; to get there, quickly use the exo-suit (heals not far from the entrance to the factory). Having reached the right place, a video will start, and then the battle with the boss will begin - Tom. The battle with him will not be difficult, but his assistants can be annoying with shots from firearms. After dealing with the boss, talk to your partner, take the elevator down and go to the next location. After making your way to Jordan, take the explosives from her and go down into the sewer. As you go down the sewer, you will be attacked strong zombies, so be careful when turning. Once you reach the bottom, clear the area of zombies and mine the gate. Run further, there will be the same zombies along the way, but it is not at all necessary to kill them. Having run to the indicated place, a cut-scene will start, after which you will really have to run from zombies and from fire. Eventually you will emerge from the sewer.

Case #6: Zombie Master. THE FINAL

At the beginning of this task you will have to catch up with the fleeing Vic. Try to keep up with her and not be distracted by the zombies, otherwise she will run away and you will start over. After running almost the entire shopping center behind her, she will disappear behind bars, do not hesitate, run after her through the top floor.

A cutscene will begin in Kishiro Plaza, and immediately after the battle with the boss - Calder. It is better to fight him at a long distance; in close combat he will knock you down and strike you. After a while, Vic will open a store that has an exo-suit and various supplies, but crowds of zombies will also begin to attack you. Put on the suit and use explosives to wound the boss and kill zombies, or use the environment to deal maximum damage to Calder. By taking away half of his health, you can charge your suit with electricity. This will increase your damage, but the boss will also do this, while sending his zombies. In general, the battle can take you from 10 to 20 minutes (the boss has a lot of lives), so be careful not to start all over again.

Having won, a long cut-scene will begin, after which talk to Brad, who is waiting for you outside the door. Before you go further, be sure to replenish your supplies at local stores. Teaming up with your partners, you will need to get out of the shopping center, but at the same time protect Brandon and Vic. Don't skimp on explosives, if you don't have them, take a weapon that hits the area, and don't stray too far from your comrades. After getting out of the market, you will find yourself in the parking lot, where you have to hold out for five minutes until you are rescued. Now the final cut scene and credits. On this walkthrough Dead Rising 4 on the site is completed.

We all remember the journalist Frank West, and in Dead Rising 4 he will again find himself in the very center of a deadly epidemic. A comical attraction with a bunch of zombies. What could be better?

Now let's be clear. Dead Rising from the very beginning adhered to some serious motives like survival among hordes of zombies. What does it have to do with it, the further I went Dead series Rising, the more absurd and stupid the murder weapons became, but in the last part, cubes, candy machines and phallic symbols are used (I’m talking about a big lipstick now, and not about what you’re thinking, perverts).

As we know, one fine day the developers changed and the whole mood of the game changed. The appearance of Frank in the new part can be regarded as a tribute to memory or a desire to return to the roots. But if the return of the journalist was supposed to take us back to the good old Dead Rising, then it didn’t turn out very well, to put it mildly. I give this attempt 1 zombie out of 10. The first part had a plot, a time limit, a change of day and night, survivors who had to be dragged on a hump to the shelter and action in battles. This all made the game exciting and interesting.

In the fourth part you have a whole city, the main story line and a couple of side effects. Alternatively, you can simply run around the city and kill zombies absolutely aimlessly, since the storyline is a journey from one cut scene to another.

Look at West: we are not looking at that purposeful and strong reporter, no. Frank became a clown with a midlife crisis and the occasional good joke. This, of course, is not bad; humor is always appropriate in games and it adds some zest. But if you decide to resurrect Frank West, then damn it, bring back THAT Frank West, not a pathetic parody of him.

Remember, in the first parts you could take a certain number of weapons. We had to decide whether to take a firearm or more clubs. There are no such problems in the new part: separate slots for weapons ranged, melee, throwing and other things. Row everything and as much as possible until it spills out of your pockets.

The new developers are now a Canadian studio: Capcom Vancouver. So they focused on the madness, Sad and Gamora. As many absurd and downright stupid weapons and crazy survivors as possible. Yes, we have open city, vehicles that can be modified and a bunch of drawings. Maybe the first two hours are interesting, but no more.

And yes, important point- imbalance. The cruelest. You can find a simple blueprint for a strong and cool thing that you will continue to run with. In this case, all fights with zombies will become tedious and monotonous. Even if we take the bosses, in the third part they showed a little video game that was not devoid of pathos. Remember the crazy fat woman and the masochist with a flamethrower penis. That was interesting, and the battles with them were hellish. Dead Rising 4 is fundamentally different. No pretentious presentations or cut scenes for you. He just came, waved his weapon once and left. Who was that? What is he doing? What is this all for? Unclear.

Summarize. Dead Rising 4 turned out so-so, specifically so-so. It’s absolutely not clear what the developers wanted, what thoughts even arose in their heads and what the hell they accepted.

at the very beginning I decided to arrange for me back to the roots and again driven into the endless halls of the Willamette Mall. The big sandbox of the last part is much nicer to me, but it’s time to figure out whether a new one is worth the candle.

What has changed here since the release of the first part? You know, almost nothing in 10 years! Even good old Frank West returned, saying that there would be enough PR here for auto mechanics. Time to take epic zombie selfies! The main problem of the previous parts, the timer finally disappeared. I always wanted to complete side quests or just have fun with zombies, but you see, you have a deadline, you need to complete the game in a certain time. If in the third part it even amused me, especially on maximum difficulty, then in the previous ones it could cause nothing but irritation. Definitely a plus for the fourth part.

What is it generally famous for? Of course, savory zombie genocide in every possible way! It’s hard not to remember more than a huge arsenal of everything that comes to hand, from bricks to chairs or even plush toys, ordinary bladed weapons and firearms, as well as those that we can diligently craft. This has always been the coolest entertainment, but every time running to the machine for the next issue of “Crazy Hands” simply got tired over time. This time, a big hello to the casuals. Craft wherever and whatever you want, and I don’t even pick up one of the ingredients, so to speak. Assembling your dream weapon on your knee is now a piece of cake. There are enough variations of DIY bells and whistles, and in one playthrough I didn’t manage to watch even half of them. True, it’s not that I tried to collect all the drawings, but with them everything is not so simple. Most of them are walled up with various locks, and the keys to them are scattered throughout the city. Collect and come back, it’s not that complicated, but fuck, we have a lot of all kinds of axes, shotguns, explosives... Yes, you can only open the lock with a special key. Oh, those old school conventions!

Each new part loved to throw in some fresh tricks. The fourth decided to follow this tradition and, perhaps having outplayed the last ones, the Canadian went crazy with exoskeletons. They can also be improved a little. It’s a pleasure to maul zombies in hand-to-hand combat while wearing a combat tuxedo, but you won’t be able to cut them apart in this for a long time, as in the same one. The battery is not rubber, unlike the one in Frank's camera. Oh yes, another new thing is the investigation mode, almost like in . At first it's almost funny, but throughout the entire playthrough it can easily infuriate you. Making a couple of selfies against the backdrop of a horde of undead is great, but nervously scouring every corner in search of non-obvious subjects over and over again becomes more and more boring.

What about the plot? As usual, a trash talk on a couple of evenings. Nothing really serious. Frank comes to Willamette, which he already knows well, to expose another government experiment to create a zombie virus. Boredom! Everything would be completely bad if it weren't for the setting. Here's where and in like a game You obviously don’t count on the New Year’s mood, but there’s more than enough of it here. To the point that one of the bosses can be whipped with Christmas trees or boxes of gifts, and the incredibly tube Christmas soundtrack is the icing on the cake.

Since I remembered a little about the bosses, I can’t help but say that there is still a crisis of ideas. Previously, bosses were memorable, mainly due to their madness, but here... I can’t even remember anyone. That strange case when the hunt throughout the city for maniacs in wild costumes is much more thoughtful than any obligatory boss fight. And in general, all the characters, except Frank, do not evoke a single emotion. Perhaps because they were not given any screen time at all, or simply because the entire development was working more on the gameplay that had been working for ten years. There is a certain level of hackiness here. The same applies to some elements open world. The city is small, but there are various shelters scattered throughout it, where we are supposed to collect survivors and the more of them, the cooler things we can buy there. Every time we come across survivors on the way to the nearest story mission. He fought off the corpses, received a reward and a new tenant. At first glance, not bad. Something similar to , but in fact a stupid feature that is only useful for buying maps that display collectables on the ground. You can craft weapons yourself, and it’s much more interesting to find costumes and unusual cars yourself, but in the same third part the transport was more creative.

In any case, it's a good toy. Usually, it’s more pleasant to play this game in co-op, but somehow I’m in no hurry to pay XBOX Live Gold, although in fairness, in the third part with randoms I had a lot of fun, but that’s a completely different story. After finishing, I was left with a slight desire to run through the game again, and I finished it in one gulp in about 14 hours, but as soon as I remembered that I was playing on , this desire disappeared a little. If we are going to re-pass it, then by , but only after a year, as in the case of the last one. Would you like to come back and drive old Frank under Jingle Bells Rock… It's not clear yet.
